Starting as a Virtual Assistant during the pandemic was no easy feat. Armed with only a cheap laptop, some call center experience, and a diploma, I dove headfirst into the world of online work. With just 5% knowledge on how to get started, I turned to Youtube tutorials for guidance and applied to any job I could find. I started with a measly dollar-per-hour data entry gig just to gain experience, but eventually landed a more lucrative position as a chat sales assistant for a business consultancy.

Determined to improve my skills, I invested the money I had saved into a "Basic Freelancing Course" certificate, which helped me land even better-paying jobs. But learning doesn't stop there - as a VA, I know that continuous learning is crucial for success. With technology and software constantly evolving, it's important to stay up-to-date with the latest tools and techniques to work efficiently. Knowing about the industry and clients' businesses can also help anticipate their needs and provide personalized solutions.

Not only does continuous learning improve my productivity and job satisfaction, but it also keeps me motivated to strive for growth. As a Virtual Assistant, I believe that investing in oneself is essential to excel in the role. So, I'll keep on learning and growing to be the best VA I can be!

The three most important characteristics I possess as a VA:

Dependability: You can depend on me in completing tasks in a timely and efficient manner. I'm the one you can trust.

Adaptability: I can be flexible and adaptable to changing circumstances. I can learn new skills and software easily, as technology and requirements change frequently.

Professionalism:  I am respectful, courteous, and professional in all communications, both written and verbal.
